Classroom Layout: Whole Group and Differentiated Instruction
Download the student roster and examine each student’s profile for diversity and student needs.
Download the classroom layout planner and open it.
Examine the student roster to identify the diversity of your students. You will create two seating charts: one for whole group instruction activity and the other on slide two for a differentiated activity. Click inside each white box labeled “Student Name” on the classroom layout and type in the full name of one student from the class roster. Examine your classroom layout to guarantee your first slide is for whole group instruction activity and the second slide is for a differentiated instructional activity.
Finally, take a screen capture of each completed slide and post each to the Discussion. Describe how your classroom layout is responsive to your students’ interests, learning profiles, and readiness levels.
