Students have been introduced to The Grit Scale (Duckworth, 2013), a quantitative instrument that measures an individual’s level of grit.
In this assignment, students will work in pairs to create a qualitative instrument that “digs deeper” on this concept. Using critical thinking, students will develop an instrument of 5-7 distinct qualitative questions. Students will demonstrate the ability to create clear, well-crafted questions that add to the understanding of grit.
