Hi, I am looking for someone to write an article on career in the foreign service Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work! This was one of several experiences, whereby I discerned the beauty and grace of the human spirit. Furthermore, my interest in the arts drew me inexorably towards charitable and social improvement activities.
I discovered an enormous opportunity to substantially expand my personal and professional goals and perspectives, after coming to the US. I initially resided in New York City, and I supported myself by working in a fast food restaurant. As a result, several of my goals remained unfulfilled. It did not take long for me to appreciate that the best option for furthering my personal and professional growth was to obtain a college education. I could not enroll in a college, due to paucity of funds. After several months of introspection and analysis, it dawned upon me that it would be of great benefit to join the armed forces. Thus, I enlisted in the United States Army.
In the Army, I swiftly discerned that my knowledge of the world and its mores was severely limited. I met individuals from widely varying backgrounds and with a broad spectrum of experiences, and this served to promote my personal development. Thereafter, I had an opportunity to visit several places in the US, whilst simultaneously acquiring the wherewithal to transform myself into an exemplary soldier. During my posting at Fort Campbell, I endeavored to obtain a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. After injuring my back in an accident, I was compelled to obtain a medical discharge from the Army. At that juncture, I was very keen to obtain a high quality education.
I have experience of working in foreign climes. On occasion, these forays have been fraught with considerable danger. For instance, I have done volunteer work in the United Nations Assistant Mission in Afghanistan in 2013. In addition, I am an active member of the John Jay College Veterans Association. Moreover, I have worked in Dubai and India.
