Essay topic: Identify and analyze the experiences and difficulties encountered by the “new nations” (now independent republics) after Independence, after 1825, as the peoples started to build national identities and create economic progress and political authority [nineteenth century Latin America].
Do not write about the Independence wars nor the various Independence leaders of the early nineteenth century!
