The norm-breaking activity that I chose to analyze from a television show or movie clip is the scene in The Incredibles (2004) when Syndrome, the villain of the film, kidnaps baby Jack-Jack and steals him away in his jet plane. In this scene, Syndrome has violated both legal and moral norms by kidnapping an infant and then attempting to fly away with him.

This act of norm violation is significant because it brings out various underlying themes present in The Incredibles. First, it highlights Syndrome’s arrogance as well as his willingness to take risks and break laws for what he wants as he believes himself to be above the law due to his superhuman powers. It also serves as a symbol of how power can corrupt people – even if they initially had good intentions – which is a recurring theme throughout the movie. Additionally, it shows how far one individual will go for revenge against another person (in this case, Mr. Incredible). Furthermore,, it makes us sympathize more deeply with characters like Dash (Mr., Incredibles son), Violet (Mr., incredibles daughter), Bob/Mr., incredible himself due their despair at seeing someone else taking away their beloved family member without any hope escape coming easily or quickly enough unless drastic measures are taken – namely using superpowers gifted them by nature itself since ordinary methods would prove futile here given circumstances surrounding situation itself:
