All main characters are white settlers living on the American frontier. This could be interpreted through a racial lens as reinforcing an idea of white superiority over Indigenous peoples.

Characters almost exclusively assume middle class status quo wealth illustrates heavy reliance solely upon European background origins even after multiple conflicts soonest arise amongst Indians & Anglos competing interests spaces available unlike similar tales hailing fro 19th century emphasized nuances racial divide more prominently elsewhere around World instead… 9 .. After examining my selected material using these ten guidelines for analyzing children’s books for racism and sexism, I can conclude that there are definitely racist undertones present in Little House On The Praire though it should be noted that these were likely reflective of attitudes common during this time period rather than intentional prejudices expressed by author herself intentionally.
